Senior Bookkeeper – Australian Accounting (Philippines Remote)
Maintain bookkeeping, financial reporting, payroll, compliance, and tax support for Australian clients. Help develop junior bookkeepers within a chartered accounting firm.

- Keep clients’ financial records current by recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining ledgers
- Produce accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports in line with accounting standards
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and other account statements to verify balances and investigate discrepancies
- Coordinate payroll processing, including calculating and recording payroll transactions in compliance with applicable laws
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoices, payments, and collections
- Support tax-return preparation and assist with tax audits
- Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal regulations while keeping current with changes to accounting standards and practices
- Coach junior bookkeepers as the team expands, offering guidance that supports their professional development
आवश्यकताएँ
- At least four years of Australian bookkeeping experience in a public-practice environment
- Proficiency with Xero accounting software
- Strong understanding of Australian bookkeeping principles and procedures
- Well-developed organizational and time-management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- Able to work independently and contribute effectively within a team
