Welcome customers and deliver attentive service
Maintain product knowledge and help customers choose merchandise
Address customer questions and concerns promptly
Sell merchandise and explain product features when needed
Conduct periodic stock counts and support inventory activities
Restock merchandise and keep displays orderly and presentable
Share customer requests with the supervisor or department head
Operate the cash register and accurately handle cash, checks, cards, and gift cards
Reconcile the till after each shift and submit sales records, funds, and related materials
Complete price changes, markdowns, markups, promotions, displays, signage, and item-label updates
Follow loss-prevention, shrink-awareness, safety, and emergency-preparedness procedures
Complete other related assignments as directed

Read, understand, and explain product literature
Perform basic arithmetic, including counting, subtraction, multiplication, and division, for stocking and inventory tasks
Have high school coursework, a GED, or a high school diploma
Routinely lift 10 pounds and occasionally lift 25 pounds
Stand for extended periods
Previous retail merchandising or cashier experience is preferred
Be willing and able to work weekends
Be authorized to work in the United States
Successfully complete a federal background check and applicable pre-employment requirements
Males born after December 31, 1959, who are at least 18 years old must be registered with the Selective Service System unless exempt
Participate in direct deposit or electronic funds transfer
