- Write marketing content for seasonal campaigns, email, social media, digital ads, video, e-commerce, search, blogs, and in-store channels.
- Track changes in SEO, GEO, generative AI, large language models, and AI-powered search, applying relevant insights to Journeys content.
- Work with E-commerce and Digital teams to advance brand strategy, customer journeys, conversion goals, and business objectives.
- Develop copy concepts for seasonal campaigns, including narratives, taglines, messaging frameworks, editorial ideas, and channel-specific stories.
- Help shape and maintain Journeys’ brand voice and copy standards.
- Research trends, competitors, culture, consumers, and search behavior.
- Turn youth culture, fashion, footwear, social, and digital trends into brand stories and marketing opportunities.
- Collaborate with designers, art directors, marketers, social teams, e-commerce partners, agencies, and other creative specialists.
- Review and strengthen copy from internal teams and external partners, offering feedback on voice, strategy, clarity, grammar, and impact.
- Apply performance data, analytics, search trends, and audience behavior to refine content strategy and messaging.
- Coordinate multiple projects and priorities while protecting creative quality, accuracy, and strategic focus.
- Report to the Creative Lifestyle & Copy Manager.

- Bring at least three years of professional experience in copywriting, content, editorial, marketing, or a related field; retail, fashion, footwear, lifestyle, youth culture, or agency experience is preferred.
- Write, edit, and tell stories exceptionally well, adapting tone and messaging for different audiences and channels.
- Know SEO/GEO fundamentals and content optimization, including keyword planning, search intent, on-page optimization, metadata, and organic performance.
- Understand digital content channels, including social media, e-commerce, email, websites, paid media, and organic search.
- Connect creative concepts with consumer behavior, brand priorities, and business outcomes.
- Have a strong interest in youth culture, fashion, footwear, music, entertainment, creators, and emerging digital trends.
- Present creative concepts clearly, explain strategic choices, and collaborate with stakeholders across organizational levels.
- Organize projects and manage competing deadlines in a fast-moving retail setting.
- Pay close attention to detail and uphold consistent, high-quality brand work.
- Bring a clear perspective on brand voice, culture, and storytelling.
