Supervise finance associates and local accounts payable operations for Sysco in Edmonton. Oversee invoice processing, vendor transactions, customer prebates, compliance, and improvements to financial processes.

- Supervise Finance Associates and local accounts payable operations
- Guide finance associates in accurately coding and promptly processing expense invoices under company policies and procedures
- Oversee the accurate, properly documented preparation and processing of debit and credit notes
- Manage vendor debit and repayment transactions while maintaining accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Investigate and resolve aged vendor payable and invoice issues
- Train, coach, and evaluate finance associates through ongoing feedback and performance support
- Partner with the Commercial Finance Manager on customer prebate processing and payouts
- Work with other departments to streamline financial processes, improve efficiency, and strengthen coordination
- Maintain compliance with Sysco Food Safety policies and procedures
- Promote Environmental, Health and Safety performance and hold the team accountable for EHS requirements
- Foster and support an inclusive workplace culture
- Complete other duties as assigned
आवश्यकताएँ
- At least three years of experience in finance or accounting
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in accounting preferred
- Proficiency with financial management software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical ability, including identifying and resolving discrepancies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with colleagues and stakeholders
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under pressure while meeting deadlines
- Adaptability in a fast-paced, changing work environment
- Compliance with Sysco Food Safety policies and procedures
- Compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety programs, policies, and requirements
