Digital Content Specialist, Nursing and Health Education
Coordinate digital content projects for Elsevier’s nursing and health education products, from planning through production. Partner with subject matter experts, vendors, and internal teams on reviews, mapping, user acceptance testing, and delivery.

- Support the Digital Content Manager in developing and launching high-priority learning content
- Lead assigned digital projects from initial planning through production release
- Act as the primary day-to-day liaison for internal and external partners, including subject matter experts, instructional designers, and global content vendors
- Establish schedules and delivery rhythms for digital content development
- Join regular stand-up meetings with content development partners
- Track lead and peer review deliverables to keep work on schedule
- Surface potential subject matter expert issues and collaborate with the Digital Content Manager on risk mitigation
- Coordinate and consolidate reviews from subject matter experts and outsourced vendors to support accurate, timely content delivery
- Recommend updates to writing, assessment, and instructional design standards
- Conduct high-level reviews of outlines, assessments, and content storyboards
- Arrange permissions and art research when required
- Coordinate classification mapping, EAQ, and ancillary mapping activities
- Manage build-content delivery and coordinate resolution of user acceptance testing issues
- Confirm final course-product delivery meets quality and schedule expectations

- Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field
- At least two years of experience developing digital content
- Background creating media such as online courses and multimedia
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and written communication abilities
- Adaptable and creative approach to solving problems
- Resourceful, decisive, and highly attentive to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to anticipate issues and prevent disruptions
- Experience coordinating subject matter experts and communicating professionally with colleagues
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects at once
- Comfort working effectively in fast-paced, high-volume situations
- Demonstrated ownership across the full content development lifecycle
- Knowledge of publishing workflows and Microsoft Office
- Some familiarity with EPUB, HTML5, HTML, XML, and AI-assisted authoring or content tools
