- Shape resilient, efficient data architectures for analytics platforms and strategic initiatives.
- Define engineering standards, reusable practices, and lifecycle guidance for enterprise data.
- Build Bronze, Silver, and Gold data pipelines with strong quality, governance, and lineage controls.
- Create and improve ingestion, transformation, and delivery workflows across Databricks and AWS.
- Develop and maintain integrations with APIs, relational databases, NoSQL platforms, and enterprise systems.
- Build reusable frameworks, automation, and engineering solutions that standardize the data ecosystem.
- Introduce data quality controls that protect information consistency, integrity, completeness, and compliance.
- Track and improve the performance of pipelines, queries, and distributed processing workloads.
- Diagnose and resolve production failures, bottlenecks, and underlying platform issues.
- Advance data cataloging, governance, lineage, and access-control practices for data assets.
- Assess technologies, tools, and architectural patterns that can strengthen the data platform.
- Guide multidisciplinary teams as a technical resource while promoting effective data engineering practices.
आवश्यकताएँ
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, data engineering, software engineering, statistics, mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated data engineering experience, including ETL or ELT pipeline development.
- Professional experience with Databricks and AWS services.
- Advanced SQL proficiency.
- Advanced Python proficiency.
- Hands-on experience with data lakes, data warehouses, and Bronze, Silver, and Gold medallion architecture.
- Experience improving, monitoring, and observing data pipeline performance.
- Working knowledge of data governance and data quality practices.
- Experience with Spark, PySpark, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog.
- Experience connecting data through APIs and messaging platforms.
- Insurance-sector experience is advantageous.
- Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate or Professional certification is advantageous.
- AWS Certified Data Engineer Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification is advantageous.
- Knowledge of DataOps is advantageous.
- Experience implementing CI/CD for data pipelines is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Terraform and infrastructure as code is advantageous.
- Experience with streaming data and event-driven system design is advantageous.
