Data Analyst, Energy Systems at GreenPowerMonitor (Hybrid, Norway)

- Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends, risks, patterns, and opportunities linked to business priorities
- Create and manage Power BI dashboards and reports
- Convert business questions into analytical methods, measures, and KPIs
- Communicate findings to stakeholders in a clear, actionable way
- Partner with business stakeholders, data engineers, product teams, and subject matter experts to refine analytical solutions
- Support reporting workflows, data models, definitions, and self-service analytics
- Identify and support relevant agent and agentic AI use cases across Energy Systems
- Enable colleagues and leaders to make stronger data-informed decisions
- Work with diverse, complex datasets in an international, knowledge-focused environment
आवश्यकताएँ
- 2–4 years of relevant experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a comparable role
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data analytics, economics, business, engineering, computer science, statistics, or a related field
- Experience turning large, complex datasets into structured analyses, reports, or dashboards
- Ability to translate business needs into data requirements, analytical questions, and usable outputs
- Experience presenting insights to non-technical audiences through visualizations, clear storytelling, and concise recommendations
- Hands-on proficiency with at least one leading business intelligence and visualization tool, preferably Power BI
- Understanding of data modeling, dashboard design, report performance, and user-friendly visual analytics
- Experience performing data quality checks and reconciliations, and documenting definitions, assumptions, and calculations
- Experience using Excel for analysis and ad hoc business support
- Experience extracting, transforming, and analyzing data from relational databases, data warehouses, or lakehouse environments
- Curious mindset, structured approach, and confidence exploring data
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality, consistency, and reliability
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business colleagues
- Clear communication skills and the ability to explain analytical findings simply and relevantly
- Motivation to improve processes through simpler reporting, automation, and stronger insight delivery
- Final candidates must complete background checks and meet statutory requirements in the countries where DNV operates.
