Service Technician and Defense Supervisor – Tilburg and Oirschot
Senior service technician maintaining Scania trucks in Tilburg and supervising defense vehicle maintenance in Oirschot. The role covers planning, quality control, diagnostics, repairs, and parts operations.
Tavsif
- Maintain, repair, and diagnose Scania trucks at the Tilburg facility three days each week.
- Use the latest diagnostic methods and workshop tools.
- Resolve complex technical faults.
- Work as Defense Supervisor at the State Owned Workshop in Oirschot two days each week.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair activities for Scania vehicles.
- Support technicians and monitor work quality.
- Schedule maintenance according to PMC plans and organize repair work.
- Coordinate technician deployment with civilian and defense personnel.
- Maintain daily contact with the Business Office regarding scheduled work.
- Prepare and close work orders, provide parts, and perform follow-up inspections.
- Manage the workshop’s own warehouse, monitor stock, and ensure parts are ordered on time.
- Plan and monitor ADR and Fassi inspections.
- Coordinate with ODB groups on maintenance, diagnostics, and recovery.
- Act as Scania’s point of contact for the relevant defense barracks.
- Participate in consultations and meetings concerning Scania vehicles.
- Track technicians’ working hours and contribute to the monthly DSO KPI meeting.
Talablar
- MBO-4 level of working and thinking, preferably in a technical discipline.
- Experience as a commercial vehicle mechanic, service technician, or in a comparable technical role.
- Experience maintaining, repairing, and diagnosing commercial vehicles, trucks, or comparable vehicle systems.
- An interest in planning and organizing technical work.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with different stakeholders and maintain oversight when schedules change.
- Strong communication skills and a responsible approach.
- Experience in or familiarity with a military organization is an advantage.
