Tavsif

  • Develop and maintain complex Java applications and enterprise codebases
  • Reverse-engineer existing systems to assess architecture, dependencies, business logic, and technical constraints
  • Use AI-assisted tools for code generation, analysis, refactoring, testing, and documentation
  • Apply structured AI development methods, including reverse engineering, Spec-Driven Development, and automated test generation
  • Refactor and modernize Java applications by removing or replacing legacy dependencies and outdated components
  • Create and enhance automated tests to enable safer modernization and refactoring
  • Work with engineering teams and stakeholders to turn requirements and system behavior into maintainable technical solutions
  • Help teams establish repeatable, effective AI-assisted development practices
  • Maintain high standards for code quality, maintainability, testing, and engineering best practices
  • Help enterprise clients convert AI opportunities into business impact through AI deployment, AI-native execution, and technology-integrated solutions

Talablar

  • Extensive Java development experience, preferably with enterprise applications and complex existing systems
  • Hands-on experience developing, maintaining, refactoring, and modernizing Java applications
  • At least three months of team-project experience using Cursor as the primary AI code-generation tool, or at least six months using comparable tools such as Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot, Antigravity, or similar
  • Practical experience with structured, shared AI development workflows, especially reverse engineering and/or Spec-Driven Development
  • Hands-on experience using AI-assisted methods to generate tests
  • Experience refactoring Java systems to remove or replace legacy dependencies
  • Ability to understand and navigate unfamiliar, complex codebases
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals, including clean code, automated testing, version control, and collaborative development
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with technical teams and stakeholders
  • Knowledge of legacy Microsoft IE5 HTCs and DHTML architectures is a plus
  • Experience with Oracle Database schema upgrades and/or stored procedures is a plus
  • Experience with Oracle JDK 8 is a plus
  • Previous consulting experience is a plus
