  • Lead the Baltimore electrical department and build a team equipped to deliver large regional and national projects.
  • Oversee selected electrical engineering projects.
  • Bring deep technical expertise and support engineering staff as a technical resource.
  • Answer staff questions and resolve engineering issues.
  • Verify the accuracy of engineering work and methods.
  • Develop detailed engineering plans, processes, and procedures.
  • Recruit, hire, coach, and lead department employees.
  • Conduct quality reviews and reinforce technical lessons and company processes.
  • Advise on employee performance, career progression, and potential.
  • Propose and manage project budgets and schedules.
  • Work with managers, suppliers, and contractors to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Review workforce forecasts and identify staffing requirements.
  • Work with partners and executives to advance the firm’s growth and quality objectives.
  • Support marketing and business development efforts.
  • Identify prospective business opportunities.

Talablar

  • At least 10 years of electrical and fire alarm design experience.
  • Experience supervising a team.
  • Maryland professional engineer (PE) license.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Strong technical writing and software skills, including Revit.
  • Sound knowledge of building codes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, able to multitask and work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
