Tavsif

  • Deliver accurate, timely financial and statutory reports for Romania and Bulgaria
  • Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
  • Review balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, tax rules, and internal accounting policies
  • Safeguard balance sheet integrity and accounting accuracy
  • Coordinate external audits and serve as the primary contact for auditors and authorities
  • Collaborate with shared service teams and external accounting providers
  • Support treasury work, liquidity monitoring, and payment approvals
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and local statutory requirements
  • Advise on accounting for financial transactions and reporting matters
  • Contribute to process improvements and financial integration activities as needed

Talablar

  • Bring proven experience as a chief accountant or financial controller
  • Experience in a Big Four audit environment is an advantage
  • Have strong knowledge of IFRS and statutory financial reporting
  • Understand local accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements
  • Have managed month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Bring hands-on experience with balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation
  • Apply strong analytical skills and understand financial statements, including system-generated transactions and manual journal entries
  • Have experience working with auditors, tax authorities, and external service providers
  • Be able to manage and collaborate with internal and external service providers
  • Have overseen accounting across multiple legal entities or countries
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and a proactive, ownership-driven approach
  • Experience with SAP and CPM Beacon (SAP BPC), or similar ERP and financial systems, is an advantage
  • A professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is preferred
  • Communicate effectively and manage stakeholder relationships well
