Regional Finance Controller — Romania and Bulgaria
Lead financial reporting, compliance, audits, and close activities across KONE’s entities in Romania and Bulgaria. This onsite role supports regional finance operations and works with internal teams, auditors, and external providers.
Opis
- Deliver accurate, timely financial and statutory reports for Romania and Bulgaria
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
- Review balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, tax rules, and internal accounting policies
- Safeguard balance sheet integrity and accounting accuracy
- Coordinate external audits and serve as the primary contact for auditors and authorities
- Collaborate with shared service teams and external accounting providers
- Support treasury work, liquidity monitoring, and payment approvals
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and local statutory requirements
- Advise on accounting for financial transactions and reporting matters
- Contribute to process improvements and financial integration activities as needed
Zahteve
- Bring proven experience as a chief accountant or financial controller
- Experience in a Big Four audit environment is an advantage
- Have strong knowledge of IFRS and statutory financial reporting
- Understand local accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements
- Have managed month-end and year-end closing processes
- Bring hands-on experience with balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation
- Apply strong analytical skills and understand financial statements, including system-generated transactions and manual journal entries
- Have experience working with auditors, tax authorities, and external service providers
- Be able to manage and collaborate with internal and external service providers
- Have overseen accounting across multiple legal entities or countries
- Demonstrate attention to detail and a proactive, ownership-driven approach
- Experience with SAP and CPM Beacon (SAP BPC), or similar ERP and financial systems, is an advantage
- A professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is preferred
- Communicate effectively and manage stakeholder relationships well
