Lead teams at Kainos in building secure, scalable digital services with AWS, Node.js, and TypeScript. Guide software architecture and delivery while coaching and mentoring engineers.

- Hands-on experience with AWS, Node.js or JavaScript frameworks, TypeScript, Terraform, and AWS CDK.
- Expertise in designing, building, testing, and maintaining modern software applications.
- Experience providing technical leadership for teams delivering scalable, secure, high-performing applications.
- Knowledge of software development principles, practices, and patterns, including XP and TDD.
- Experience owning a product or software project technically, including architecture, estimation, product planning, and defining user stories or requirements.
- Expertise in software design and development across all application layers.
- Demonstrated ability to manage, coach, and develop junior colleagues and the wider engineering community.
- Experience with modern continuous integration and continuous delivery practices.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Active involvement in sharing knowledge.
- Experience debugging and troubleshooting live applications.
- Experience with multiple programming languages and data storage technologies.
- Knowledge of public cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, including SaaS and PaaS offerings.
