Hybrid Sales Representative, Home Energy Assessments
Conduct Mass Save home energy assessments, recommend efficiency upgrades, and help homeowners arrange services. The role also includes installing energy-saving products and guiding customers through the process.

- Conduct home energy assessments through the Mass Save program.
- Use energy-efficiency software to model homes and prepare detailed savings reports.
- Recommend upgrades such as insulation, LED lighting, and high-efficiency HVAC systems.
- Generate sales and secure service contracts.
- Assist customers and explain the benefits of home energy efficiency.
- Apply sales techniques to support customer satisfaction and earn referrals.
- Help customers organize and complete required paperwork.
- Install energy-saving products, including thermostats, water-saving devices, and power strips.
- Submit required paperwork accurately and on time.
- Build product knowledge and sales skills through ongoing learning.
- Keep up with energy-saving products and technologies.
- Work with internal teams to cross-sell products and services.
- Handle other duties as needed.
Talablar
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- A valid Massachusetts driver’s license and reliable transportation are required for travel.
- BPI certification is a plus.
- Previous customer service and sales experience are preferred.
- Knowledge of the Mass Save program is a plus.
- Basic computer skills are required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a primarily field-based role.
- Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills.
- An outgoing, flexible, and personable demeanor.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Willingness and ability to work in customer settings, including attics, basements, confined spaces, rooftops, ladders, crawl spaces, roofs, and stairways.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Ability to travel in a personal vehicle.
