Business Analyst, Territory Planning and Analytics
Use analytics, scenario modeling, and market research to shape Gartner Services territories and identify opportunities for growth and retention. Partner with Services leaders on planning and revenue decisions.
Tavsif
- Collaborate with Gartner Services leaders to define growth needs and plan territories aligned with company strategy and guidelines.
- Analyze internal and external data to identify trends and market opportunities across regions, industries, local areas, and companies.
- Prepare detailed territory descriptions for Services managers and leaders to use in communication and planning.
- Lead complex analyses of territory and retention data to advise senior Services leaders on revenue and margin opportunities.
- Run annual and monthly reviews to identify efficiency and growth opportunities and support retention targets.
- Model scenarios for allocating Services professionals, current clients, and prospects.
- Perform custom analyses to inform decisions by Services leaders and C-level executives.
- Independently support one or more Services regions in partnership with TP&A managers and leaders.
- Develop and share best practices for creating and improving Services territories.
Talablar
- At least one year of management consulting or analytics experience.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and databases.
- Experience conducting regression analysis.
- Experience building scenario models.
- Experience testing hypotheses.
- Ability to work with inconsistent datasets.
- Ability to derive actionable insights from analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Power BI.
- SQL and Python skills preferred.
- Ability to build relationships with and influence senior leaders.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and independently manage projects from start to finish.
