Tavsif

  • Oversee daily accounting operations for One Times Square
  • Record daily point-of-sale transactions
  • Review and analyze departmental expenses
  • Assist in preparing workpaper packages
  • Process vendor invoices
  • Administer third-party revenue distributions
  • Record cash receipts and complete bank reconciliations
  • Manage credit card chargebacks and deferred revenue schedules
  • Prepare accruals and allocate departmental expenses
  • Maintain accurate expense records and support timely financial reporting
  • Follow accounting policies, internal controls, and established procedures
  • Assist with monthly financial statement preparation
  • Verify accurate invoice coding
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable aging reports
  • Support audits and inventory counts
  • Assemble workpaper packages
  • Maintain working relationships with external auditors, intercompany teams, and third-party partners
  • Report to the Vice President of Finance
  • Complete other related duties as assigned

Talablar

  • At least two years of progressive experience in accounting and finance
  • Preferred experience in hospitality, travel, tourism, public accounting, or real estate
  • Proficiency with retail point-of-sale systems
  • Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience using financial management software such as MRI
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools
  • Verbal and written English communication skills
  • Strong analytical, strategic-thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Ability to collaborate effectively while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Availability to work varying schedules, including overtime and evening or weekend hours when needed
  • Ability to complete required walking, standing, and manual dexterity activities
  • Bilingual or multilingual ability is preferred but not required
