Opis

  • Lead the technical foundation in collaboration with the Money and Payments teams.
  • Make key technical decisions and advance innovation.
  • Design new solutions and establish patterns and frameworks for other engineers.
  • Identify system-wide opportunities and guide teams toward business and technical goals.
  • Build scalable systems and critical services.
  • Resolve technical challenges that affect growth.
  • Mentor and support the development of junior engineers.
  • Improve the platform and engineering processes continuously.
  • Shape cross-functional initiatives through technical influence.
  • Work with other teams as needed.

Zahteve

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or another technical discipline.
  • At least 12 years of software engineering experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
  • Strong full-stack development skills.
  • Proficiency in Python or a similar programming language.
  • Experience with relational databases.
  • Strong full-stack implementation skills, including highly observable user interface and backend components.
  • Sound knowledge of distributed systems and system design principles.
  • Creative, adaptable problem-solving and critical thinking in ambiguous situations.
  • Experience contributing to a team through code reviews, pair programming, collaboration, and mentoring, and openness to being mentored.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Preferred: experience with mobile technologies or payments, fintech fraud and identity, or large-scale systems serving millions of users.
