Opis

  • Support Aetna’s commercial health insurance business, primarily in California and across the Western U.S.
  • Coordinate regulatory filings, responses, and communications with state regulators.
  • Maintain relationships and handle interactions with California regulatory agencies.
  • Assist with governance for California legal entities, including board and committee activities.
  • Research legal, regulatory, and compliance matters.
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory changes and explain their impact to stakeholders.
  • Maintain regulatory databases, repositories, and tracking tools.
  • Contribute to West Region compliance initiatives and regulatory projects.
  • Work with Legal, Compliance, Government Affairs, and business teams to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Track regulatory obligations, deadlines, and reporting.

Zahteve

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least two years of experience in regulatory affairs, healthcare compliance, insurance operations, legal operations, project management, or a related field.
  • Experience in a highly regulated healthcare, insurance, or managed care setting.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Experience with health plans or managed care organizations.
  • Knowledge of healthcare, insurance, or managed care regulations.
  • Experience supporting regulatory filings and inquiries, audits, examinations, investigations, and compliance activities.
  • Familiarity with California insurance and managed care regulators.
  • Experience supporting board, committee, or corporate governance processes.
  • Ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional projects.
  • Strong attention to detail and experience maintaining regulatory tracking systems.
  • Ability to work independently, handle confidential information, and exercise sound judgment.
  • Demonstrated initiative and commitment to continuous improvement.
