On-Site Service Technician – El Cajon at ASSA ABLOY

Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade automated pedestrian doors at customer sites in El Cajon. The role combines electro-mechanical, electrical, low-voltage, glazing, and customer-service work for ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems.

Opis

  • Complete scheduled maintenance, emergency repairs, and upgrades for automated pedestrian doors at customer sites.
  • Diagnose electro-mechanical equipment, electrical circuits, and relay-logic systems to identify faults and restore operation.
  • Install and service aluminum frames, glazing components, door hardware, and low-voltage wiring.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, end users, contractors, and other service contacts.
  • Complete required training and obtain and maintain AAADM certification.
  • Use power tools while handling physical duties such as lifting up to 100 pounds, climbing ladders, and kneeling.
  • Join the on-call rotation after completing required certification and training.

Zahteve

  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and experience repairing electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Working knowledge of basic electrical circuits and 120V low-voltage wiring; access-control experience is an advantage.
  • Experience with glazing, storefront systems, aluminum frames, and door hardware is preferred.
  • Hold a valid driver’s license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
  • Show a strong commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork.
  • Be capable of lifting, bending, and using power tools effectively.
  • Be at least 21 years old.
  • Successfully obtain AAADM certification within one year of employment and maintain it as required.
