Interior Designer (3+ Years) — Workplace Interiors

Develop workplace design concepts, furniture selections, and Revit construction documents at multidisciplinary firm Pope Design Group. Collaborate with clients, project managers, and integrated design teams.

Opis

  • Gather client space requirements and develop plan layouts with the project team.
  • Create design concepts, color and finish palettes, and furniture selections for projects of varying scale and complexity.
  • Develop and document design solutions with the project team.
  • Coordinate and specify interior furniture.
  • Help prepare design presentations and renderings.
  • Contribute to construction documents using Revit.
  • Attend client and project interviews as needed.
  • Develop interior design packages and prepare design and construction documents aligned with client needs, project scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables.
  • Keep up with design trends, architectural and design products, and materials.
  • Communicate with clients to confirm design requirements and specifications, review progress, present final designs, and provide project updates.
  • Work with project managers to confirm objectives and develop options for clients.
  • Prepare and deliver design and technical presentations to teams and clients.
  • Contribute to marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with integrated teams and multidisciplinary design professionals.

Zahteve

  • Bachelor’s degree in interior design.
  • At least 3 years of experience.
  • NCIDQ certification or active pursuit of certification.
  • CID certification is a plus.
  • At least 2 years of workplace interiors experience.
  • Experience with other project types is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and other design software, especially for 3D presentations.
  • Sound understanding of interior design principles, practices, and concepts.
  • Problem-solving skills and adaptability when work requests or the work environment change.
  • Ability to take on additional responsibilities with some guidance.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • A cover letter and portfolio are required with the application.
