Engineering Design Manager
Lead design delivery for ENFRA energy infrastructure projects, from development handoff through construction closeout. Oversee staff, quality, budgets, and client coordination.
Opis
- Lead design work from development handoff through construction closeout
- Coordinate daily design tasks to keep work on schedule, documented accurately, and aligned with project goals
- Assign work to junior staff, review performance, and provide mentorship
- Maintain compliance with design standards and safety protocols
- Help roll out process changes and perform preliminary quality reviews
- Monitor labor and budgets, review time records, and support resource planning
- Coordinate communication among staff, project managers, and leaders
- Assist with client communications under supervision
- Contribute to team activities and a constructive workplace culture
- Take on other assigned responsibilities
Zahteve
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related technical field
- At least five years of design-related experience in mechanical, electrical, building automation systems, programming, or building operations management
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
- Strong leadership abilities
- Commitment to safety
- Analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Proficiency with Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
- Willingness to travel 25% of the time to job sites or office locations
- Ability to perform site surveys
- Ability to move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Engineering Intern (EI) certification and/or Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI preferred
