DevOps Engineer Philippines Remote
Build secure, scalable AWS cloud systems and CI/CD pipelines for Career TEAM’s Career EDGE workforce-development platform. Work with Node.js, MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, and related DevOps technologies.
Opis
- Develop applications with MongoDB, Next.js, Nest.js, Node.js, and DevOps practices
- Write, review, test, deploy, and continuously improve enterprise products
- Take part in recurring Scrum ceremonies
- Design highly available and resilient systems with AWS services
- Create and maintain GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines using YAML
- Containerize and orchestrate applications with Docker and Kubernetes
- Build scalable AWS infrastructure with EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS
- Develop secure, reliable web applications
- Partner with cross-functional teams on architecture, scalability, and performance decisions
- Design, build, test, and deploy RESTful APIs and microservices
- Automate infrastructure with Terraform, Jenkins, and Docker
- Address complex real-time performance and reliability challenges
- Implement monitoring and logging to track system health and performance
Zahteve
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field
- At least two years of Node.js, MERN stack, or equivalent development experience
- At least two years of full-stack web application development experience
- At least two years of experience in CI/CD or DevOps work
- Experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, and CloudFormation
- Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes
- Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions
- Practical experience using YAML for configuration management
- Familiarity with Terraform
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub
- Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills
- Experience applying secure software development and architecture practices
- Familiarity with security best practices and protocols
- Exposure to VSCode, Postman, Jira, Jenkins, and Docker
- Experience with monitoring tools such as AWS CloudWatch or the ELK Stack
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
- Employment is contingent on successfully completing criminal, employment, and education background checks
- AWS certifications, serverless architecture, microservices, networking and security, performance optimization, and community contributions are preferred
- PHP experience is a strong advantage
