Opis

  • Lead engineering and technical staff.
  • Oversee design and technical work for pavement, utilities, grading, site features, and drainage.
  • Build and manage client relationships, including financial oversight and responsiveness.
  • Apply local zoning, subdivision rules, and other design standards.
  • Coordinate surveying support from internal teams and external providers.
  • Take part in civic, technical, and professional organizations, pursuing leadership opportunities.
  • Prepare proposals, scopes, and fees, and monitor project performance.
  • Build and maintain relationships with city departments.
  • Present at hearings, commission meetings, and city council sessions.
  • Design sites for office, retail, industrial, and institutional buildings.
  • Support residential subdivisions from land acquisition through finished lots.
  • Contribute to municipal roadway, drainage, and planning projects.

Zahteve

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • Texas professional engineer registration.
  • At least six years of experience across the listed responsibilities.
  • Experience producing and managing plans.
  • Experience with entitlements, including platting, zoning, and municipal permitting.
  • Experience in site planning and development master planning.
  • Experience with grading and drainage design.
  • Experience with street and alley design.
  • Experience with site design.
  • Experience with water and wastewater design.
  • Experience in hydrology and hydraulics analysis and design.
  • Experience in general civil design.
  • Experience in construction management.
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS.
  • Experience with SWP3s.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with clients, staff, municipal authorities, vendors, and contractors.
  • Availability to attend city council and client meetings as needed.
