Descriere

  • Manage long-form editing for the Roland Frasier and Ryan Deiss YouTube channels
  • Turn raw footage into polished videos with strong pacing, clean audio, purposeful B-roll, and clear structure
  • Produce three to four videos per month for each channel
  • Create the in-house editing workflow, including templates, asset organization, review cycles, feedback systems, and project archiving
  • Document the workflow by the third month to support future team member onboarding
  • Develop a distinct editing style for each channel through pacing, B-roll, music and sound effects, lower thirds, and transitions
  • Organize project files, asset libraries, version control, and archives in Frame.io and Premiere
  • Make independent decisions about cuts, pacing, and structure
  • Incorporate feedback quickly, aiming to keep each video to no more than two revision rounds
  • Review YouTube Studio audience retention curves and use viewer drop-off data to guide future edits
  • Work with the Senior Content Strategist, Ryan Deiss, and Roland Frasier on creative direction and feedback

Cerințe

  • At least three years of full-time experience editing long-form YouTube videos of 15 minutes or longer, with at least five published edits in a portfolio where you were the primary editor
  • Comfort building systems from the ground up
  • Strong motion graphics and animation skills, including animated B-roll, kinetic typography, data visualizations, and motion design
  • Expert proficiency in DaVinci Resolve Studio or Adobe Premiere Pro, including multicam editing, nested sequences, audio mixing, color correction, and proxy workflows
  • Strong audio engineering skills, including EQ, compression, and noise reduction
  • Proven storytelling ability, including pacing, narrative structure, and audience retention
  • Proficiency with Frame.io or an equivalent review tool
  • Ability to manage deadlines independently and meet a publishing calendar
  • Daily use of AI tools, including Opus 5.5 for motion graphics, Premiere AI features, transcription, and B-roll search
  • A workstation capable of editing 4K ProRes footage without performance issues
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Preferred: color grading skills in DaVinci Resolve or advanced Lumetri work
  • Preferred: experience editing founder or CEO personal brand channels in B2B or entrepreneurship
  • Preferred: experience editing clips for Reels, Shorts, or TikTok
  • Preferred: fluency with YouTube Studio analytics
