Descriere

  • Define priorities for AI-assisted development using engineer feedback and workflow data
  • Expose internal developer systems through APIs and create integrations that let agents complete engineering workflows
  • Develop context management and agent execution systems with tool access, permissions, checkpoints, retries, and logging
  • Create automated checks, evaluations, and feedback loops for AI-generated pull requests
  • Automate security dependency updates, minor fixes, and recurring maintenance tasks
  • Enhance engineering workflows, including issue triage and CI/CD processes
  • Drive cross-team technical changes, align stakeholders on priorities, and measure reductions in manual effort and delivery improvements
  • Own AI-assisted coding initiatives within Sentry’s Platform Engineering organization
  • Work with engineers across Sentry to assess agent outcomes, diagnose failures, and improve processes

Cerințe

  • At least 10 years of software engineering experience, including direct ownership of production systems
  • Experience creating developer tools, infrastructure, or automation for engineering teams
  • Practical experience using AI coding tools and agents
  • Understanding of how context, tool access, and validation influence AI coding results
  • Strong foundations in software engineering and system design
  • Experience developing dependable integrations between systems
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-team technical initiatives from problem definition through implementation and adoption
  • Clear written and spoken communication skills, including presenting technical decisions and recommendations to senior engineering leaders
  • Experience with agent harnesses, context systems, evaluations, or automated pull request workflows
  • Experience with code review tools, static analysis, or automated testing
  • Experience measuring and improving developer experience or engineering productivity
  • Experience with large-scale distributed systems or decomposing monoliths
  • Public contributions to developer tooling or AI-assisted development projects
  • Authorization to work in the United States
