Descriere

  • Lead deployments of computer-aided dispatch, mobile application, and records management systems from sales through service.
  • Manage project scope and the interfaces included in each deployment.
  • Coordinate and carry out customer installations within time-sensitive schedules.
  • Gather customer requirements and explain technical details to people across organizational levels.
  • Understand public safety customer environments to support product security and reliability.
  • Deliver solutions built from defined products and standard interfaces, with limited flexibility.
  • Install, integrate, deploy, and deliver the defined solutions.
  • Troubleshoot software and IP networks.
  • Identify product defects and follow engineering fixes through customer acceptance.
  • Record billable hours for assigned and completed projects.
  • Use standard project deliverables to report task status and completion.
  • Work with project teams, project managers, customers, interface development teams, and engineering.
  • Train new team members when needed.
  • Travel to customer sites as needed.

Cerințe

  • High school diploma and a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, General Studies, Information Systems, or Technology, together with relevant experience in systems integration, software or systems engineering, product development, public safety, systems testing, or systems support.
  • At least four years of engineering experience in an engineering or technology environment.
  • Experience in systems integration, software engineering, product development, system testing or support, or information technology.
  • Windows Server 2019 or later.
  • SQL Server 2019 or later.
  • SQL scripting with T-SQL.
  • Proficiency with XML, XPath, and XSLT.
  • General networking knowledge.
  • General troubleshooting skills for software and IP networks.
  • Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States.
  • Work permit sponsorship is not available.
  • Ability to pass a stringent fingerprint background check under the U.S. Department of Justice CJIS Security Policy.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Willingness to learn on the job and work as part of a team.
  • Public safety experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of packet capture tools preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication preferred.
  • Ability to present and train others on technical processes.
