Senior Java Developer
Build secure tax administration software for European public-sector clients, developing Java services, integrations, tests, and CI/CD workflows.
Descriere
- Build software components from design specifications
- Integrate and test systems
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Write unit tests for software components
- Help estimate project effort and delivery schedules
- Work closely with teammates and communicate with project stakeholders
- Advise on product roadmaps
- Join incident triage, analysis, and prioritization
- Maintain and improve CI/CD processes
- Develop and maintain tailored software for a major European public-sector technology provider
- Help build a tax administration system for processing tax declarations, calculating and assessing taxes, and integrating with external systems
Cerințe
- At least 6 years of Java development experience
- Strong experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and container platforms, including Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS
- Experience with REST and SOAP integrations and messaging technologies such as Kafka and ActiveMQ
- Good understanding of software testing principles
- Confident English communication skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and distributed teams
- Angular front-end development experience is an advantage
- German or Swiss German language skills are an advantage
- Experience with Java, Spring, Quarkus, Angular, PostgreSQL, RESTEasy, Hibernate/Panache, Kafka, Maven, Flyway, Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab, Jira, ArgoCD, and Grafana
