Descriere

  • Lead finance operations across both businesses
  • Advise the Managing Director and project teams on strategic and commercial decisions
  • Support funding activities, investor reporting, and lender requirements
  • Oversee relationships with accountants, auditors, banks, and external advisers
  • Develop a scalable finance function to support business growth
  • Prepare annual budgets and recurring financial forecasts
  • Track business and project results against budget
  • Oversee company and project cash flow forecasts
  • Pursue outstanding receivables to reduce days sales outstanding
  • Monitor working capital and funding sufficiency for operations and projects
  • Deliver financial analysis and recommendations to management
  • Support property development projects from acquisition through completion
  • Build and maintain project feasibility models and financial assessments
  • Track project costs, commitments, and profitability
  • Collaborate with Development Managers and Project Managers to meet financial targets
  • Report on project performance and investment returns
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports

  • Apply technology and automation to improve bookkeeping and finance workflows
  • Implement and maintain finance systems and reporting tools
  • Reduce manual work through automation and digital workflows
  • Create dashboards and reports that improve visibility and decision-making
  • Lead continuous improvement across finance operations
  • Apply AI and current technologies to automate bookkeeping
  • Oversee daily bookkeeping across two business groups and related property development projects
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Complete bank and credit card reconciliations and maintain the general ledger
  • Keep financial records and supporting documentation accurate and complete
  • Code and allocate transactions across projects and entities
  • Oversee payroll, superannuation, and employee expense claims

Cerințe

  • At least five years of finance experience with Australian companies
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
  • CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification
  • Experience in property development and management, real estate, construction, or a closely related industry is preferred
  • Experience overseeing debt facilities, bank drawdowns, investor drawdowns, and project cash flows
  • Strong knowledge of Australian taxation, accounting standards, and corporate governance requirements
  • Disclose any existing ongoing roles or client engagements
