Senior Group Finance Manager – Philippines Remote
Lead finance across Australian property and construction businesses, covering forecasting, reporting, project finance, bookkeeping, and automation. This remote independent-contractor role is based in the Philippines.

- Lead finance operations across both businesses
- Advise the Managing Director and project teams on strategic and commercial decisions
- Support funding activities, investor reporting, and lender requirements
- Oversee relationships with accountants, auditors, banks, and external advisers
- Develop a scalable finance function to support business growth
- Prepare annual budgets and recurring financial forecasts
- Track business and project results against budget
- Oversee company and project cash flow forecasts
- Pursue outstanding receivables to reduce days sales outstanding
- Monitor working capital and funding sufficiency for operations and projects
- Deliver financial analysis and recommendations to management
- Support property development projects from acquisition through completion
- Build and maintain project feasibility models and financial assessments
- Track project costs, commitments, and profitability
- Collaborate with Development Managers and Project Managers to meet financial targets
- Report on project performance and investment returns
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities
- Prepare and lodge BAS, PAYG, payroll tax, and other statutory filings for review and lodgement by the Australian Accountant
- Assist with annual audits and tax compliance activities
- Maintain compliance with Australian accounting standards and financial policies
- Apply technology and automation to improve bookkeeping and finance workflows
- Implement and maintain finance systems and reporting tools
- Reduce manual work through automation and digital workflows
- Create dashboards and reports that improve visibility and decision-making
- Lead continuous improvement across finance operations
- Apply AI and current technologies to automate bookkeeping
- Oversee daily bookkeeping across two business groups and related property development projects
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Complete bank and credit card reconciliations and maintain the general ledger
- Keep financial records and supporting documentation accurate and complete
- Code and allocate transactions across projects and entities
- Oversee payroll, superannuation, and employee expense claims
आवश्यकताएँ
- At least five years of finance experience with Australian companies
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
- CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification
- Experience in property development and management, real estate, construction, or a closely related industry is preferred
- Experience overseeing debt facilities, bank drawdowns, investor drawdowns, and project cash flows
- Strong knowledge of Australian taxation, accounting standards, and corporate governance requirements
