Senior Frontend Engineer – Remote in Russia

Descriere

  • Build and maintain high-quality frontend applications and product features
  • Produce clean, maintainable code supported by thorough unit and end-to-end test coverage
  • Create semantic, responsive layouts that work across browsers and platforms while meeting web standards and accessibility practices
  • Develop reusable component systems and help evolve the shared UI library
  • Improve application performance across rendering, bundle size, and Core Web Vitals
  • Partner with designers in Figma to deliver consistent, pixel-accurate interfaces
  • Connect applications to backend services and external APIs while defining API contracts with backend engineers
  • Configure and enhance build tools, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker-based environments
  • Contribute to code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions
  • Mentor mid-level and junior engineers while helping raise product quality
  • Collaborate in a product engineering group with frontend, backend, QA, and DevOps engineers, plus Product and Design
  • Take ownership of features through implementation, testing, release, and monitoring

Cerințe

  • At least five years of commercial frontend development experience
  • Advanced JavaScript ES6+ skills, including asynchronous programming, prototype-based object-oriented programming, classes, and core memory-management concepts
  • Advanced TypeScript expertise covering generics, utility types, custom declarations, and library type extensions
  • Strong experience creating semantic, responsive layouts that support multiple browsers and platforms
  • Working knowledge of web standards and accessibility
  • Strong CSS expertise, including SASS/SCSS and CSS-in-JS approaches
  • Professional experience with React, Vue, or a comparable modern framework
  • Experience using state-management libraries or patterns
  • Experience developing server-side rendered or isomorphic applications
  • Experience building component systems, including compound-component patterns
  • Understanding of data structures, algorithmic complexity, and common design patterns
  • Knowledge of fundamental caching methods such as LRU
  • Ability to break down work and keep business logic separate from framework or library code
  • Experience configuring and optimizing Vite or Webpack
  • Experience with ESLint, StyleLint, Prettier, or Biome
  • Experience creating unit and end-to-end tests
  • Understanding of REST API fundamentals and external-service integrations
  • Experience working with Docker
  • Proficiency with Git and GitLab
  • Confidence using Figma to implement designs
  • Good written and spoken English
