Senior BI Developer - Warsaw Hybrid
Lead Power BI reporting, visualization, governance, and analytics for ROCKWOOL Group in a senior hybrid role based in Warsaw. Partner with international teams to build scalable business intelligence solutions and self-service reporting.
Descriere
- Build and maintain scalable Power BI solutions for enterprise reporting.
- Convert complex datasets into clear insights and effective visual experiences.
- Partner with business stakeholders to clarify reporting needs and priorities.
- Recommend fit-for-purpose BI approaches and produce reliable dashboards.
- Contribute to the growth and direction of the Business Intelligence function.
- Help steer reporting, visualization, governance, and self-service analytics initiatives.
- Establish standards, practical guidance, and the long-term direction of the BI environment.
- Oversee Power BI administration, including Premium Capacity optimization and governance processes.
- Apply both independent judgment and strong technical and commercial understanding.
- Use Kanban practices and Jira to coordinate project work.
- Work with colleagues across Poland and Malaysia while supporting global business functions.
Cerințe
- At least five years of experience developing Business Intelligence and analytics solutions.
- Background delivering complete reporting and data visualization solutions from design through implementation.
- Skilled at eliciting requirements and working autonomously with business stakeholders.
- Able to convert business objectives into scalable BI implementations.
- Capable of independently recommending approaches and resolving complex problems.
- Experience contributing within internationally distributed teams.
- Comfortable working with Scrum or Kanban methods and managing work in Jira.
- English proficiency of at least C1 in both written and spoken communication.
- Practical Power BI development experience.
- Strong knowledge of data serving and modeling within Power BI.
- Experience administering Power BI, including Premium Capacity management.
- Understanding of effective dashboard design and data visualization principles.
- Experience with Git; GitHub knowledge is preferred.
- Sales, Marketing, or Finance domain expertise is a significant advantage.
- Knowledge of CRM platforms and their data structures, ideally Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Data modeling experience with star schema, snowflake schema, and data vault approaches.
- Python experience is desirable.
- Snowflake experience is desirable.
- dbt experience is desirable.
- Azure experience is desirable.
- Familiarity with modern data platform principles is desirable.
- Experience partnering with Data Engineering teams is desirable.
