Senior Azure Systems Administrator – Washington Hybrid

Descriere

  • Operate and maintain Azure environments supporting NTIA Secret and Unclassified spectrum systems
  • Handle patching, backup validation, account issues, licensing, scripting, and standard systems administration
  • Apply and sustain relevant STIG controls while helping remediate security findings
  • Review Azure dashboards for infrastructure health problems, degraded application or system performance, and broad service alerts
  • Administer Azure Log Analytics Workspaces for centralized logs, alerts, dashboards, reporting, and troubleshooting
  • Contribute to security-oriented Azure implementations and technical initiatives
  • Provide technical updates to the Task Order security team for Authority to Operate documentation
  • Assist with POA&M actions and the remediation of vulnerabilities and security deficiencies
  • Use SIEM tools to gather, correlate, monitor, and assess security events for threat detection, troubleshooting, and incident response
  • Use cloud networking expertise to diagnose connectivity and performance problems and assist with infrastructure improvements
  • Administer identity and access services, including Microsoft Entra ID, conditional access, Virtual Networks, and related infrastructure
  • Implement Azure environment improvements and configuration updates
  • Manage backups and recovery processes for mission-critical systems and periodically verify recoverability
  • Assist with database and data-management work for operational systems
  • Operate Azure Commercial, Government, and Secret cloud environments
  • Facilitate data transfers between security domains with the Azure Data Transfer Cross-Domain tool
  • Support classified systems and SIPR network operations when needed
  • Analyze Azure environment costs periodically and recommend optimization opportunities
  • Sustain the availability and operation of critical NTIA applications, including Spectrum XXI, IRACnet, FMRS, EL-CID Online, FWDP, and IQLink
  • Work independently and with Agile/Scrum teams to resolve incidents, deliver changes, and maintain production services
  • Keep operational, configuration, security, and technical documentation accurate
  • Provide required contractual reports and technical deliverables
  • Prepare and maintain inputs for activity, contract, risk, progress review, vulnerability, authentication and authorization, configuration management, availability and reliability, and environment cost reports

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline, plus at least 10 years of systems administration experience
  • At least five years of database and data-management experience
  • Azure expert-level certification, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or an equivalent credential
  • Expertise operating Azure Commercial, Government, and Secret cloud environments
  • Expertise using the Azure Data Transfer Cross-Domain tool
  • Experience supporting SIPR networks and classified-system operations
  • Hands-on administration of Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, authentication, authorization, conditional access, Virtual Networks, and related Azure services
  • Experience with Azure monitoring, logging, alerting, and Log Analytics Workspaces
  • Experience with patching, backup and recovery, vulnerability remediation, troubleshooting, and security hardening
  • Experience building and maintaining STIG-compliant systems
  • Experience using SIEM platforms for security monitoring, event analysis, and incident-response support
  • Experience contributing to ATO documentation and POA&M remediation
  • Cloud networking and connectivity troubleshooting experience
  • Scripting and systems-administration automation experience
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Ability to meet DoD 8140 IAT Level II requirements
  • CompTIA Security+ certification
