Remote Software Engineer at ADTRAV Travel Management

Build and support secure, high-performance full-stack applications for ADTRAV’s corporate and government travel-management operations. Develop features, test software, collaborate with stakeholders, and resolve production issues.

Descriere

  • Evaluate business and technical needs, then recommend software solutions within a production-support environment
  • Build and improve applications with a focus on security, scalability, performance, and comprehensive testing
  • Assess complex data and software to deliver practical recommendations
  • Work with Product Owners and stakeholders in an Agile environment
  • Prepare engineering estimates
  • Troubleshoot and debug new product areas and services
  • Create and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
  • Address software defects and production incidents promptly
  • Produce clean, maintainable, efficient code for high-performing web applications
  • Contribute to code reviews
  • Verify that applications satisfy security, performance, and scalability standards
  • Track and communicate project progress using Agile development tools
  • Keep current with information technology developments and emerging trends
  • Attend meetings and provide support through text, phone, and email in a 24/7/365 operating environment
  • Take part in professional development and training
  • Build constructive relationships with employees, clients, vendors, partners, and stakeholders
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements
  • Complete other assigned responsibilities

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • At least two years of related experience producing high-quality code for production systems
  • Proficiency in C#
  • Practical experience with ASP.NET, MVC, and/or Blazor
  • Experience building and debugging web applications
  • Practical experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
  • Experience using Azure, AWS, or other cloud services
  • Experience creating database objects, writing T-SQL queries, and developing stored procedures
  • Experience with object-relational mapping tools, preferably Entity Framework
  • Experience with monitoring and telemetry tools or data
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools, preferably Azure DevOps
  • Experience using source-control systems such as Git or TFS
  • Experience with issue-tracking systems such as Jira or Azure DevOps
  • Excellent spoken and written English, including strong business-writing skills
  • Ability to estimate work and deliver projects on schedule
  • Ability to quickly learn ADTRAV’s business and products and adapt to a changing development environment
  • Experience with travel-industry tools such as Sabre or Concur is a plus
  • Unit-testing or test-driven development experience is a plus
  • Experience in a SaaS or microservices environment is a plus
  • Ability to work remotely while meeting company home-office and productivity requirements
  • Ability to work outside normal business hours and provide 24/7/365 support
  • Ability to protect confidential information
  • Ability to successfully complete credit, criminal, and/or employment reference background checks
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Ability to successfully complete a government clearance process when required by clients
