Descriere

  • Manage the transportation and logistics department’s daily activities to keep operations efficient and dependable.
  • Work with sales, customer service, and other internal teams to fulfill customer requirements.
  • Create and execute transportation and logistics plans that improve efficiency, lower costs, and increase profitability.
  • Partner with carriers and suppliers to strengthen relationships and maintain dependable transportation services.
  • Track operational performance metrics and take corrective action when results fall short.
  • Audit transportation and logistics procedures regularly to confirm compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Deliver accurate, timely reports on transportation and logistics performance to management.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts that streamline and optimize transportation and logistics operations.

Cerințe

  • At least five years of experience managing transportation and logistics operations.
  • Freight forwarding experience is preferred.
  • A bachelor’s degree in transportation and logistics, supply chain management, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of transportation and logistics regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capacity to perform effectively under pressure and meet demanding deadlines.
  • Transportation or logistics certification, such as Certified Transportation Professional (CTP) or Certified Logistics Professional (CLP), is preferred.
  • Experience using transportation management software (TMS) is preferred.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Employment is for an unspecified duration and is at will.
