Nursery practitioner responsible for caring for children, supporting families, and maintaining health, safety, and hygiene standards. The role covers Coutances Mer et Bocage childcare facilities in Gavray-sur-Sienne or Hambye.

Descriere

  • Welcome children and their families
  • Deliver daily care for children
  • Help children develop toileting skills
  • Respond appropriately to families and to children’s essential needs, routines, development, and safety
  • Foster children’s emotional security and development, both individually and in groups
  • Tailor support to each child’s abilities and needs
  • Provide essential care for children’s well-being, including sleep, diaper changes, and meals
  • Follow the administrative and medication procedures established by the nursery physician
  • Apply all hygiene and safety requirements
  • Participate in team meetings and adapt practices when needed
  • Contribute to housekeeping tasks
  • Prepare meals, maintain their traceability, and disinfect the premises
  • Clean and maintain the premises each day in rotation with the assigned partner
  • Work under the direction of the childcare centre Director
  • Attend a monthly meeting, occasionally extending until 8:00 p.m.
  • Depending on the year, work may be available in Gavray or Hambye

Cerințe

  • Hold a CAP Early Childhood qualification and/or essential experience in a nursery or working with children under three
  • Basic sign-language training is an advantage
  • Understand health protocols
  • Know the centre’s educational project, protocols, technical procedures, and facility-specific hygiene and safety rules
  • Understand the training and skills of the multidisciplinary team
  • Know the stages of child development
  • Understand the different training backgrounds of interns
  • Implement the centre’s educational project, protocols, technical procedures, and hygiene and safety rules
  • Support parents in their role
  • Organise developmentally appropriate activities suited to each child’s abilities
  • Communicate relevant information clearly to the team

  • Supervise and support interns appropriately
