Descriere

  • Oversee New Model Programs as a primary launch-control point from initiation through completion
  • Direct pre-production build events with emphasis on quality and operational efficiency
  • Coordinate the ordering, assembly, testing, and final disposition of pre-production vehicles
  • Carry out the Pre-Production Drive Fleet Evaluation Plan
  • Review and approve Product Development changes, ensuring updates are incorporated before prototype builds
  • Drive cross-functional teams to identify and resolve build-related issues
  • Co-chair launch meetings and coordinate solutions for part-support challenges
  • Administer launch budget approvals and manage assigned New Model Programs budget components
  • Develop and deliver weekly assessments on New Model Program progress
  • Report program progress, obstacles, risks, and recommended actions to senior management
  • Coordinate the handoff and integration of launch teams within manufacturing plants
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver new vehicle and powertrain launches across Ford manufacturing plants in North America

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least four years of experience using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project
  • At least two years applying problem-solving disciplines with a statistical mindset
  • At least one year in Powertrain or Vehicle Operations manufacturing, design, or program management, including project management or launch experience
  • Availability for frequent, extended travel of up to 9–12 months at a time to support vehicle and powertrain assembly plants during new model launches
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline preferred
  • Program management background preferred
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills preferred
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail preferred
  • Knowledge of the processes and methods used to move new vehicle models from development into full-scale production preferred
  • Experience with Engineering Change Management and Issue Management preferred
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Visa sponsorship is not available
