Legal Technician at Avjet Global (Remote Canada)
Support AvJet Global’s contracts, insurance programs, and corporate governance as a Legal Technician. This is a fully remote position based in Canada with an aviation fuel and airport services provider.
Descriere
- Build and maintain contract databases and related repositories in collaboration with the Director of Legal Services
- Review and prepare straightforward contractual documents
- Assist with contract administration, execution, and follow-up
- Research legal issues and search public registries
- Coordinate, organize, and track selected Legal Department projects
- Help administer company insurance programs, including monitoring certificates of insurance
- Assist with corporate governance by drafting resolutions, maintaining minute books, and completing provincial registrations
- Track legislative changes relevant to the company
- Handle other paralegal or legal technician duties arising from the company’s evolving needs
- Provide legal support to the three companies in the Avex group under the Director of Legal Services
Cerințe
- At least three years of experience in a comparable position
- Fluent spoken and written French and English
- Strong analytical and synthesis abilities
- Careful, thorough, and detail-oriented approach
- Sound judgment, discretion, and confidentiality in all work
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, including effective prioritization
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Certificate in Legal Techniques or a law degree is an asset
