Junior Legal Counsel – Ukraine (Remote)

Provide legal support to Genesis, a Ukrainian company building global technology businesses. Work across commercial contracts, intellectual property, legal operations, and research in multiple jurisdictions.

Descriere

  • Draft and review commercial contracts, internal policies, and other legal documents.
  • Improve legal operations through automation, standardization, and more efficient document and process workflows.
  • Protect intellectual property, including trademark registrations in the US, EU, and other leading markets, and copyright registration in the US.
  • Research laws and conduct legal analysis across leading markets and jurisdictions.
  • Support the company’s ongoing operations in its operating jurisdictions, focusing on North America, Europe, and Central Africa.
  • Assist with pre-trial dispute resolution and litigation under the supervision of senior colleagues.
  • Communicate with business partners, law firms, and service providers across jurisdictions.

Cerințe

  • Fluent English, including the ability to draft legal documents.
  • International certificates such as IELTS or TOEFL are an advantage.
  • At least one year of relevant experience at an international or leading law firm, or at a Big Four audit firm.
  • A strong academic record at a leading law university.
  • Ability to learn quickly.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Initiative and willingness to take on a broad range of legal work and apply creative thinking.
  • Hard-working, organized, and able to work effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to draw practical business conclusions and think strategically.
  • Moot court participation is an advantage.
  • Experience with contract law.
  • Experience with intellectual property law.
