Infrastructure Engineer, Private Cloud (Curitiba Hybrid)

Build and operate Positivo Tecnologia’s private cloud platform in a hybrid Curitiba role. Automate Kubernetes, Ceph storage, networking, infrastructure as code, and production observability.

Descriere

  • Build, operate, and maintain compute, networking, and storage infrastructure for the private cloud platform
  • Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code pipelines with Terraform or OpenTofu and Ansible
  • Automate Kubernetes lifecycle operations, including cluster provisioning, upgrades, and scaling
  • Operate and support Ceph distributed storage to maintain performance, data integrity, and availability
  • Strengthen production availability, resilience, and service continuity
  • Configure and improve observability for metrics, logs, alerts, and distributed tracing
  • Investigate and resolve incidents across Linux, networking, storage, and Kubernetes environments
  • Maintain documentation covering processes, technical standards, and operating procedures
  • Join the founding team responsible for Positivo Tecnologia’s strategic private cloud platform initiative

Cerințe

  • Completed bachelor’s degree or equivalent higher education
  • Substantial experience with IT infrastructure, Linux server administration, networking, and automation in production environments
  • Practical experience operating Kubernetes in production and using Infrastructure as Code tools
  • Advanced Linux administration across RHEL, SLE Micro, and Ubuntu, including kernel troubleshooting, process management, systemd, LVM, and cloud-init or Ignition boot automation
  • Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes Deployments, StatefulSets, DaemonSets, ConfigMaps, Secrets, RBAC, Services, Ingress and CRDs, plus container runtimes such as containerd and CRI-O
  • Experience operating and troubleshooting Ceph, including RBD and CephFS, preferably with Rook, and provisioning volumes through CSI
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS with CoreDNS or BIND, Linux bridges, LACP bonds, 802.1Q VLANs, and load balancing with HAProxy, Keepalived, NGINX, Traefik, or Istio
  • Understanding of KVM and QEMU concepts and operations
  • Experience with Git workflows, Ansible, Python, and Terraform or OpenTofu
  • Preferred experience includes RKE2, SUSE Rancher, Red Hat OpenShift, Harvester HCI, KubeVirt, OpenShift Virtualization, Longhorn, Velero, MetalLB, Calico, Cilium, Canal, ADC, Argo CD, FluxCD, Harbor, Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, Loki, and Jaeger or OpenTelemetry
  • CKA, CKAD, RHCSA, or LPIC-2 certification is an advantage
