Government Business Development Specialist – S&K Technologies (Remote, Montana)
Support S&K Technologies’ government IDIQ opportunity capture and proposal work. Research markets, qualify opportunities, and prepare business development reports.
Descriere
- Help the IDIQ Management team develop and win new business
- Analyze and distribute IDIQ task order opportunities, and support capture and proposal efforts
- Monitor IDIQ inboxes and government portals for opportunities, task orders, and contract activity
- Share RFQs with S&K business units and partners
- Coordinate responses and questions to support thorough RFQ evaluation
- Build a detailed knowledge of IDIQ master contracts and share relevant information with business units, business development contacts, teaming partners, and customers
- Identify opportunities by scope, agency, size, location, performance period, contract type, and other classifications
- Build task order opportunity pipelines with stakeholders
- Gather and analyze customer and competitor information
- Use AI tools for opportunity research and capture work
- Qualify opportunities by consulting information sources and verifying intelligence
- Contribute to capture plans through customer engagement, research, and data analysis
- Research opportunities and recommend those aligned with S&K’s capabilities
- Provide S&K introductions or capability statements when appropriate
- Prepare reports that interpret market conditions and potential
- Assess existing and prospective product and service markets
- Create, run, and deliver business development activity reports using SharePoint, Power BI, or similar applications
- Assist with periodic departmental reporting
- Review or write sections of bids and proposals
- Assist with proposal administration and production
Cerințe
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, sales, finance, or communications; alternatively, five years of experience in a related field in addition to the experience listed below
- Five years of experience in business management, marketing, sales, or communications
- Direct sales experience is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools in a business development setting
- Strong command of English
- Ability to read and interpret federal procurement and acquisition regulations and policies, including those related to 8(a) and HUBZone programs
- Familiarity with IDIQ contract vehicles and proposal management
- Experience with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar
- Ability to write proposals, prepare presentations and routine reports and correspondence, and speak effectively to groups of customers or employees
- Experience with government and third-party market research tools such as FPDS-NG, SAM.gov, GovWin, or BGov is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree required, or five years of experience in one of the related fields in its place, alongside the stated experience
