Descriere

  • Write original exam-style questions and answer explanations for UWorld’s digital MCAT Biochemistry question bank
  • Produce digital and print resources such as lecture slides, scripts, flashcards, review books, study guides, and other curriculum materials
  • Verify that content is accurate, clear, and consistent with MCAT specifications and learning objectives
  • Use effective instructional methods to make complex scientific ideas understandable to students
  • Edit existing materials using feedback from editorial and subject-matter reviewers
  • Address content feedback and revise materials for accuracy, precision, and instructional quality
  • Work remotely with editors, illustrators, and other content specialists during development and review
  • Protect the confidentiality and integrity of UWorld’s proprietary educational content

Cerințe

  • Master’s degree or higher in biochemistry, biological chemistry, or a related biomedical science discipline; a PhD is preferred
  • Prior experience writing, editing, or reviewing academic or instructional materials
  • At least two years of undergraduate or graduate teaching experience
  • At least two years of scientific research experience
  • Strong written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex scientific topics clearly
  • Experience creating multiple-choice questions, answer explanations, or test-preparation content is preferred
  • Background in instructional design, curriculum development, or educational content creation is preferred
  • Familiarity with the MCAT and its content specifications is preferred
  • Experience producing learning materials for digital education platforms is preferred
  • Advanced subject-matter knowledge in biochemistry
  • Excellent scientific writing and editing abilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail and dedication to factual accuracy
  • Ability to convert complex concepts into clear explanations suitable for students
  • Ability to work independently while managing project deadlines
  • Open to feedback and capable of applying revisions effectively
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and standard digital collaboration tools
