- Write original exam-style questions and answer explanations for UWorld’s digital MCAT Biochemistry question bank
- Produce digital and print resources such as lecture slides, scripts, flashcards, review books, study guides, and other curriculum materials
- Verify that content is accurate, clear, and consistent with MCAT specifications and learning objectives
- Use effective instructional methods to make complex scientific ideas understandable to students
- Edit existing materials using feedback from editorial and subject-matter reviewers
- Address content feedback and revise materials for accuracy, precision, and instructional quality
- Work remotely with editors, illustrators, and other content specialists during development and review
- Protect the confidentiality and integrity of UWorld’s proprietary educational content

- Master’s degree or higher in biochemistry, biological chemistry, or a related biomedical science discipline; a PhD is preferred
- Prior experience writing, editing, or reviewing academic or instructional materials
- At least two years of undergraduate or graduate teaching experience
- At least two years of scientific research experience
- Strong written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex scientific topics clearly
- Experience creating multiple-choice questions, answer explanations, or test-preparation content is preferred
- Background in instructional design, curriculum development, or educational content creation is preferred
- Familiarity with the MCAT and its content specifications is preferred
- Experience producing learning materials for digital education platforms is preferred
- Advanced subject-matter knowledge in biochemistry
- Excellent scientific writing and editing abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and dedication to factual accuracy
- Ability to convert complex concepts into clear explanations suitable for students
- Ability to work independently while managing project deadlines
- Open to feedback and capable of applying revisions effectively
- Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and standard digital collaboration tools
