Contract Cloud Engineer – Azure and Terraform, Hybrid London

Build and operate secure Azure platforms for AI-enabled search and application services at Expleo Group. The contract role covers Azure AI Search, Terraform, containerised .NET workloads, deployment automation, and operational controls.

Descriere

  • Design and deploy Azure infrastructure for AI-enabled search and related application services
  • Manage Azure AI Search, Azure SQL serverless services, Azure Service Bus, and containerised .NET workloads
  • Develop reusable Terraform modules and maintain environment-specific infrastructure configuration
  • Create CI/CD pipelines that automate infrastructure and application releases
  • Set up Azure networking, identity, access controls, secrets, monitoring, and logging
  • Build repeatable development, test, and production environments
  • Work with architects, engineers, AI specialists, and security stakeholders
  • Resolve deployment and integration problems while improving reliability, performance, security, and cost efficiency
  • Write technical documentation, deployment instructions, operational runbooks, and support materials
  • Deliver structured knowledge transfer and complete the final handover
  • Provide the Azure AI Search infrastructure for the initial use case
  • Deploy and configure Azure SQL serverless services, data services, Azure Service Bus, and containerised .NET workloads
  • Implement Terraform modules, state management, environment configuration, and automated deployment pipelines
  • Apply monitoring, logging, security, and operational controls

Cerințe

  • Demonstrated experience designing, building, and deploying cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure
  • Practical experience deploying, indexing, and integrating Azure AI Search with application or data services
  • Experience managing Azure SQL serverless services and Azure Service Bus
  • Experience hosting .NET applications with Azure Container Apps or an equivalent Azure service
  • Experience with Azure Storage Accounts, Azure Key Vault, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics
  • Understanding of Azure networking, including virtual networks, private endpoints, and network security controls
  • Experience applying Microsoft Entra ID, role-based access control, and managed identities
  • Proven ability to provision and manage Azure infrastructure with Terraform
  • Experience creating reusable Terraform modules, remote state patterns, and repeatable environment deployments
  • Ability to organise Infrastructure as Code repositories with suitable validation, review, and release controls
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
  • Experience automating infrastructure and application deployments across multiple environments
  • Proficiency with Git, branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews
  • Experience packaging, deploying, and supporting containerised .NET applications
  • Hands-on knowledge of Docker and Azure container hosting services
  • Understanding of container configuration, secrets, networking, logging, health checks, and scaling
  • Knowledge of Azure, Terraform, Azure AI Search, Azure SQL serverless services, Azure Service Bus, CI/CD, Git, Docker, Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, Azure OpenAI, Azure Kubernetes Service, and C#/.NET
  • Willingness to travel to and work from client sites across the UK when required
