Cloud Developer Intern
Help build cloud-native infrastructure and remote workflows for the Vortex Studio simulation platform. You will develop APIs, deployment automation, orchestration systems, and simulation data pipelines.
Descriere
- Prototype methods for deploying and operating Vortex Studio simulations in cloud environments
- Create APIs, services, command-line utilities, or web applications for configuring, launching, monitoring, and controlling remote simulations
- Build and refine automated deployment workflows with Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code
- Design workflows that collect, transfer, store, and expose simulation data and results
- Investigate orchestration and elastic-scaling approaches for synthetic data generation, automated QA, engineering studies, and autonomy experiments
- Assess proposed solutions for performance, scalability, reliability, and usability
- Record technical decisions, findings, limitations, and recommendations
- Collaborate with software developers and simulation specialists while helping advance the Vortex Studio platform
Cerințe
- Academic or practical background in software engineering, computer science, cloud computing, distributed systems, or a related technical discipline
- Strong programming ability in Go, Python, or a comparable language
- Working familiarity with Linux, containers, networking, and current software deployment practices
- Ability to independently research technical challenges and develop functional prototypes
- Interest in cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, simulation, or developer platforms
- Strong English communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Pulumi, or comparable Infrastructure as Code tools is an asset
- Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud is an asset
- Experience developing REST or gRPC APIs, backend services, or web applications is an asset
- Knowledge of data pipelines, object storage, streaming, observability, autoscaling, or distributed systems is an asset
- Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, or large-scale computing workloads is an asset
- Exposure to simulation, robotics, synthetic data generation, game engines, or engineering software is an asset
