Business Development Specialist - U.S. Specialty Insurance (Remote)
Drive broker partnerships and profitable growth for Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions’ U.S. specialty insurance business. Support underwriting, marketing, and client solutions across specialty lines.
Descriere
- Build profitable growth by developing new broker relationships and deepening existing partnerships
- Increase market presence by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
- Work with brokers to provide solutions aligned with client needs
- Support profitable new business and retention through relationship management, product expertise, and underwriting judgment
- Supply market insight to identify and shape opportunities in current and prospective markets
- Act as the primary Striior contact for Intact’s business development team members
- Assist underwriters with marketing activities and reinforce broker relationships
- Travel to key producers and accounts while maintaining a visible market presence
- Evaluate trends and recommend strategies for business positioning
- Build producer relationships that support shared growth and profitability objectives
- Apply knowledge of coverage gaps to retain existing customers and win new ones
- Coordinate with underwriting, claims, actuarial, and risk control teams to support producers and accounts
- Provide project management assistance for marketing programs
- Help assess Business Unit marketing practices, proposed changes, and areas of weakness
- Represent Striior at industry events and on relevant committees
Cerințe
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- Established relationships with regional wholesale brokers
- Willingness and ability to travel 75% of the year
- Five to seven years of progressively complex experience in specialty-lines insurance and marketing
- Growing knowledge of underwriting guidelines and broad familiarity with Striior’s operations and products
- Understanding of insurance industry, territory, and market trends
