Descriere

  • Lead software development from architecture and design through implementation and testing
  • Plan staffing and build organizational skills and capabilities
  • Set employee goals, support development, and conduct annual performance reviews
  • Assist with cost account management through status and variance analysis, risk identification, and recovery planning
  • Manage employees carrying out software engineering and technical work
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and partners
  • Oversee technical approaches, products, and processes
  • Resolve complex problems while handling multiple tasks
  • Manage software development projects using industry-equivalent practices
  • Support new business efforts and work with the engineering community
  • Travel between El Segundo and Seal Beach as needed

Cerințe

  • Hold an active U.S. Top Secret clearance
  • Be a U.S. citizen to qualify for the active U.S. Top Secret clearance
  • Qualify as a U.S. Person under export control requirements
  • Have at least 3 years of software development project experience
  • Have at least 1 year of leadership experience or have completed Boeing’s Exploring Leadership course
  • Have experience with software engineering practices, including configuration management, software architecture and design, and software life cycle management
  • Preferred: Hold an active TS/SCI clearance
  • Preferred: Have at least 3 years of team management or leadership experience
  • Preferred: Have at least 3 years leading software development life cycle projects or individuals
  • Preferred: Hold a bachelor’s degree in a listed technical field or have equivalent experience
  • Have systems engineering or software development experience on space-based or ground-based systems
  • Have experience managing and participating in complex integrated product teams within budget, schedule, and performance requirements
  • Have full-stack development and object-oriented programming experience with Java, C++, and/or Python
  • Have experience with DevSecOps, continuous integration, and GitLab
  • Have experience with test-driven development, agile software development, DevSecOps, and CI/CD management
  • Satisfy the company’s conflict of interest assessment
  • Be aware that the employer does not sponsor employment visas
  • Complete drug and alcohol testing when applicable
  • Complete the Boeing First-Line Leader Assessment
