Descriere

  • Turn original, exclusive video concepts into finished content from ideation through delivery
  • Pitch, book, film, edit, and deliver video assets for PEOPLE’s social channels and app
  • Develop creative concepts and collaborate with celebrity talent
  • Produce article-style videos in response to breaking news
  • Track red-carpet events and create timely video coverage
  • Work independently during evening breaking-news coverage
  • Create and deliver news-driven videos and edits from exclusive PEOPLE interviews
  • Support the Senior Content Creator with pre-production for major PEOPLE shoots
  • Prepare talent questions and propose engaging, attention-grabbing social concepts
  • Film social-first videos and edit video content
  • Cover red-carpet events by producing, filming, editing, and publishing video
  • Pitch and produce compelling social video content
  • Partner with reporters, editors, social video producers, designers, and the Video team
  • Conduct interviews and manage talent production
  • Represent the brand at events and capture content

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, a related discipline, or equivalent training and experience
  • At least three years of professional experience in a fast-paced creative environment
  • Demonstrated success building and growing audiences for media sites and digital brands
  • Strong understanding of social media, particularly strategies for reaching Gen Z audiences
  • Sound news judgment and the ability to work across all PEOPLE verticals
  • Ability to use performance data and newsworthiness to inform content decisions
  • Proficiency editing video with Adobe Premiere
  • Advanced knowledge of TikTok and Reels formats
  • Distinctive creative voice that aligns with and can evolve the PEOPLE brand
  • Enthusiasm for creating, analyzing, and consuming diverse forms of content
  • Highly attentive editing skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Availability to attend live events and capture content for the PEOPLE brand
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with multiple content management systems
  • Ability to work independently during breaking-news situations
  • Ability to attend meetings and help guide other team members
  • Availability to participate in live events and travel as assigned
