Descriere

  • Prepare statutory accounts, financial statements, and related reports
  • Maintain general ledger, regulatory, management, and other accounting records
  • Research the effects of proposed changes to accounting rules
  • Develop, implement, and communicate processes that support updated accounting standards
  • Provide accounting guidance for proposed transactions
  • Prepare records, process vendor invoices, and address vendor inquiries
  • Plan, direct, develop, and assess accounts payable policies and procedures
  • Process employee expense reimbursement requests when required
  • Prepare, verify, and report accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • Analyze and reconcile bill runs to identify potential fraud
  • Follow established transaction-entry verification procedures
  • Prepare and respond to low-volume customer billing inquiries
  • Analyze capital budget requests
  • Create cost-reduction or management programs that improve profitability
  • Review fixed and variable unit expenses to identify savings opportunities
  • Prepare expense analyses and monitor expense control and reduction efforts
  • Create progress reports and presentations for management and external stakeholders
  • Ensure reports and disclosures meet applicable regulations, professional standards, and organizational policies
  • Prepare consolidation journal entries, eliminate intercompany transactions, and consolidate divisional and subsidiary accounts
  • Complete or support accounting project documentation
  • Disburse payroll checks, payroll taxes, and employee benefit payments
  • Evaluate systems and recommend or develop improvements to operating efficiency
  • Monitor documentation for employee benefit payments
  • Prepare payroll expenditure reports
  • Maintain shareholder accounts, pay dividends, and complete tax reporting
  • Respond to shareholder inquiries
  • Review, design, develop, and implement accounting and documentation systems and procedures
  • Coordinate financial statement tagging for regulatory reporting
  • Apply standard and customized taxonomies to financial statements, footnotes, and schedules
  • Review and document XBRL tagging to support consistent and accurate financial reporting
  • Perform other assigned duties
