European Centre for Press and Media Freedom (ECPMF)
The European Centre for Press and Media Freedom (ECPMF) is a Leipzig-founded non-profit working to protect press and media freedom across Europe. Its work spans monitoring threats to journalists and media, fact-finding and research, practical and legal assistance—including support for journalists in exile—and funding cross-border investigative reporting. ECPMF also advocates for stronger protections through initiatives such as the Media Freedom Rapid Response and the European Anti-SLAPP Monitor.
