Technical Consultant III, PL/SQL Developer and DBA – Mumbai (Hybrid)

Manage Oracle databases and build PL/SQL solutions for NCR Atleos EFT switching and payment processing platforms. Support high-volume transaction workflows, database operations, and production deployments.

Apraksts

  • Install, configure, upgrade, maintain, patch, and secure Oracle databases.
  • Manage RAC, Data Guard, and RMAN backup and recovery environments.
  • Track database performance with OEM, AWR, ASH, and ADDM reports.
  • Administer database users, roles, schemas, privileges, and tablespaces.
  • Carry out backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Tune database performance and plan capacity.
  • Resolve production database issues and respond to critical incidents.
  • Build database packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
  • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for high-volume transaction systems.
  • Support payment transaction processing workflows.
  • Build database interfaces and backend business logic.
  • Write data migration and ETL scripts.
  • Review code and keep technical documentation up to date.
  • Assist with QA, UAT, and production releases.
  • Maintain database components for EFT switch and payment applications.
  • Investigate transaction failures and reconciliation issues.
  • Maintain transaction routing and configuration tables.
  • Support settlement and authorization processing.
  • Work with application support teams and clients.
  • Assist with client implementations and production deployments.

Prasības

  • At least four years of database administration experience.
  • Strong experience with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with high availability and replication tools.
  • Experience with RMAN backup and recovery.
  • Experience monitoring databases.
  • Experience tuning database performance.
  • Advanced PL/SQL or pgSQL development skills.
  • Experience with stored procedures, packages, triggers, and functions.
  • Experience developing complex SQL queries and optimizing them.
  • Experience supporting and implementing EFT switch or payment processing systems.
  • Experience with EFT switching applications such as Authentic, Base24, Postilion, or IST Switch is highly desirable.
  • Preferred experience with ISO 8583, UPI/NPCI, PostgreSQL, Liquibase or Flyway, and Bash scripting.
